Why are all the black and white videos in fast-forward motion? I mean it makes them look so fast.

The likes of Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko are naturally going to be fighting at 245lbs+. But the likes of Samuel Peter and many others like him are not fighting at their optimal weight. That is to say that they're not really 240-260lb guys [in fighting weight terms], they're probably 220-235lbs. Even that is a considerable size advantage, but it's not everything. That extra strength and mass that fighters like Peter have wouldn't do them any favours if they were to fight a truly skllled 205lb man, like say, a younger Holyfield or a Chris Byrd. So I don't believe it's the actual weight that's the real killer, it's the overall size of the big, modern day athlete like Lewis and Klitschko, not people like Peter.

Louis would be just to good for Peter as would Marciano.

Lol I hope you're starting **** because to call a guy like Sam Peter "evolved" in comparison to Joe Louis is sig worthy.

And the size argument isnt even valid because Louis was an in shape 205 pounds at 6'2. Peter comes in at 240+ because he's not in his best shape, and he's shorter. If Peter were to train for 15 rounds liek Louis did, he'd be 225ish. Hardly a huge advantage in weight.

                i think they'd beat samuel.

samuel is only 6'1 , 6'2. he's not 6'7 like the klits who would be a problem.

joe LOUIS (not lewis) would've schooled peter. rocky is a different story but i still give him a good chance against peter. he'd kill peter on the inside and wear his fat ass down.

                  i know.

                  heavyweights back then fought funny.

they blocked , they jabbed , they threw combos , they ducked punches......

                  wtf is that?

don't they know they're heavyweights? right hand , clinch. left jab , right hand , clinch. left hook , clinch. that's how it's suppose to be done.

heavyweights back then didn't know how to fight.......
