    Who wasted 2008 the most?

As 2008 almost comes to a close with just a month left and all the fights schueled, who wasted it the most. Below are the possible choices:

Choice #1, Mikkel Kessler: The guy who will probably be leading the poll. He fought two times against two mandatory bums that made his stock go down a lot. Thanks to Hopkins and him fighting pretty much no one with a pulse, he is now questioned as "Who is this guy" instead of highly respected Super Middleweight Champion he was before Joe Calzaghe.

Choice #2, Victor Ortiz: This will be my vote. He's fought I think 3-4 times, but you would think after a sensatitional first round KO of Carlos Maussa on the undercard of Cotto-Mosley, he would step it up big time showing that he belonged in the elite of the 140 division. Instead, he's fought literally no one I think. He's fighting a person of 21-2 come December 6, but that guy is nowhere near the top 10 of 140. He should have fought someone like Vivan Harris, Myabe, or Gavin rees to help increase his stock. Very poor managing by Golden Boy.

Choice #3, Anthony Mundine: Fought Sam Soliman, Shannon Taylor, Crazy Kim, and some mexican at 160 I think. Would maybe be #1, but he's pretty worthless. Looks to improve in 2009 by probably taking on Felix Strum.

Choice #4, Winky Wright: Went on the milk carton as Hopkins predicted. Tried to make fights with Pavlik, Williams, and Abraham for 2009, but failed to do so. Was fighting on December 4th, but got injured.

Choice #5, Vanes Martisyon: Could have stepped it up by fighting a top 20 opponnet. Instead, fought someone who thought was going to be a test, but dispatched of him. Improved last fight on getting the guy out in the first round while hurt. Not a total waste of a year, but disapointing.

Choice #6, Andre Ward: Zzzzzzzzzz. Wake me up when he fights someone credible. He's a 2004 olympian, but has only like 14 fights. He needs to step up fighting from just once or twice a year. Big disapointment in Ward.

Choice #7, Allan Green: Pretty much ****ed over his career by saying he wouldn't fight on ESPN2 anymore and wasted the year with fighting old hacks and selling himself out on a Pavlik fight.

Choice #8, Ruslan Chagev: Not really his fault, but he certainly wasted it by getting injured.

Choice #9, Floyd Mayweather Jr.: I guess you could put him as one as seeing how a Cotto fight was big money. Hell he past up on 30 million from Oscar or so the second time around. Fell out of love with boxing for the moment or retired.

Choice 10, Other: you pick it.

      Nice list

It has to be Floyd since he was coming off the best and biggest year of his career, he finally becomes a superstar/house hold name and he decides to "Retire"

He will be back next year, hopefully he can jump right back where he left off.

I have to say Andre Ward. I like him a lot as a boxer (one of my favorite prospects out there) and I think he has a great future, but the future is now and at the very least definitely needs to fight more often.
