Theres only like 2 rounds that are debatable, the other rounds you can tell the winner clearly!!!!

Lmao at people scoring Round 10 for Castillo. That was one of Floyd's best rounds since the begining. Rounds 4 and 5 were pretty close, but Mayweather edged round 5, but lost round 4. You give him 4 and 5 with 8 and 10, you get 115-111 for Mayweather...

Not as crazy as people make it seem. I've seen this fight a lot and Mayweather edged it and noway did Castillo put a whooping on him. Castillo did great however. Mayweather slienced the doubt on who was the better in the rematch though.

Floyd won the rematch quite comfortably though. Nowhere near as close as the judges had it. I think I had it 9-3 or 8-4. 115-113 for Mayweather is way to close and Castillo did not win 5 rounds.

Where are not talking about the rematch in wich everybody Know that Floyd won!!! Round ten was not Floyds best round by any means. and even if you still gave Floyd that round, the it was a draw round, because floyd had a point deducted. And Floyd clearly won Round 4, the 5th round is one of the debatable rounds!!!!

So I guess you'll now admit Gayweather's sole HOF credential is first ***** to go 39-0? Or Maybe, if he ever does time, the first 39-0 prison ***** to get traded for a pack of Newports?

              Ummm what?

His HOF credentials are quite obvious. ATG is another thing, but hall is a lock, or should be anyway.

I know about the rematch, but still wanted to bring it up anyway.

If Floyd clearly won round 4 (which it might have been. I scored either round 4 or 5 for Castillo. It might have been 5 instead. I need to rewatch it then) and then lost 5 and won round 8, which he definitely did, and won round 10, which he did, the total score is 114-112 for Mayweather.

It basically shows that Castillo didn't clearly win this fight, as much as people like to think that. I have no problem with people scoring it for Castillo (not 115-111 though, that's too high imo), but I don't think you could call it clearly.

It was a match that even if you had scored it for either man, it deserved a rematch. And there was one.

This fight always gets exhumed every month or so by some who just aren't convinced Mayweather won.

Any other fighter would simply have refused to re-match the tough Castillo.

Yet Mayweather, to quell any doubts, re-fought and CONVINCINGLY beat Castillo. In a non-PPV fight.

                  Castillo never complained.

The MAJORITYof fight fans and pro's will ALWAYS conclude that Mayweather vindicated himself, and the first fight should be left alone.

But something tells me someone's gonna get another butt pimple and re-dig up this fight again next month.

Would Mayweather have taken the rematch if he was convinced he really won?

I'm thinking he wasn't too convinced he won the first time.

I believe he knew he won, but wanted to please the fans and make it official.

All Castillo needed to do was put Floyd down once in the first fight or had him in so much trouble that both the fans and judges would see it as a Castillo victory.

Even a draw would've jeopardized Mayweather's chances at a win.
