    Calzaghe deserves some Credit

Even though it took him a lot of time, he does deserve credit for beating Kessler and Lacy. Calzaghe was no 1 and Kessler was no 2 and he fought him, I honestly thought Kessler would win, he is a very skilled fighter. No matter how old Hopkins is, he is still a tricky fighter and he proved that against Pavlik when he dominated him, not too long ago he beat the likes of Winky Wright and Antonio Tarver as well.

Honestly Calzaghe isn't one of my favourite fighters but he does deserve some credit, too many people **** on him, but the fact is going unbeaten in 46 fights is a tough task I dont care who you're fighting...and in those 46 fights he defended his title more than 20 times and was a champion for over 10 years, Look no ones calling him an ATG or anything and most of his fans do go overboard and make bait threads but all im saying the man deserves credit for what hes done so far and he will get in the hall of fame for sure.

Even if you dont think much of him you have to admit that not every fighter beats Bernard Hopkins, it is a tough task. I dont give him credit for beating Jones because its obvious why, but lets give him atleast a little credit for beating Hopkins, Lacy and Kessler. Say what you want about Lacy, the facts hes **** and whatever but 90% picked him to 'Destroy' Calzaghe and for the first time Calzaghe wasn't the favourite in his career according to the bookies, even in his own backyard.

calz deserves some credit, but not enough to claim that he is ATG or the best boxer of his generation

Lacy i agree but Kessler could clean out SMW if he changes his promoter.
