are you guys forgetting that this is the new hatton? i say hatton cruises to a lopsided decision or margaritos corner throws in the towel saving him.

well we have a guy that has the physique of a middleweight against a guy who struggles with welterweights? Why ask this ****** question, we all know the inevitable answer.

For the first 3 rounds Hatton may outbox him but soon Margaritos workrate and power will eventually catch up to Hatton and probably TKO him... Simliar to what happened to Cotto. Not only is 147lbs the wrong division for Hatton, Margarito is HUGE compared to him... Not like De La Hoya Vs Pacquiao... WORST.

Margarito is way too big for Hatton.

          Margarito by TKO.

Margarito would destroy Ricky Hatton. I'd be suprised if it went beyond 5 rounds. Can you imagine the state of Hatton's face after a fight with Margarito. He had a black eye from a few jabs against Malignaggi. Imagine Margarito walking through Hatton's punches & pummeling him round after round. Jesus.

Last time I got a black eye it was from a jab from a guy in his fifties. It was a nothing punch, but it hit me right in the eye.

Regardless the wording of the poll seems to suggest that this is a "pown" thread. Hatton would lose to Margarito in all likelihood, probably get stopped mid to late. Hatton has the ability to outbox Margarito but he really isn't disciplined enough and would stop boxing by the fourth resulting in an increasingly one sided fight.

Sorry, didnt make myself that clear before. Was meaning that Hatton cuts and bruises easily and was already marking up after round 1 against Malignaggi.

He would be a right mess after a few rounds with Margarito.

We've been through this before. Hatton is too small to fight at 147, especially since Marg is basically a middleweight.
