There was nothing controversial about it. Barrera clearly won that fight.

dlh has had a few contraversial wins. but he isnt valid for the thread because he is not a "great" fighter.

I suppose, though, any split decision is bound to be 'controversial' to some extent even when the judges have scored perfectly reasonably.
yeah you must be visually disabled if you couldn't see hopkins was the only one landing punches and calzaghe was missing everything.

You don't really want me to embarrass you by putting up the stats from people who can actually count, do you?

Anyway, no point going over that again. One of three judges thought B-Hop, and it seems to me the general opinion is pretty much in the same proportions but, as always, it had to go one way or the other. So where is the 'controversy'? Compared with something like Lewis Holyfield 1 anyway.

My favorite Fighter Pac's wins are according to some from "SHOT" fighters as some people would call it and somehow they would argue that if only he fought them in their Prime he would not have beaten them.So as for me I could still say these wins are CONTROVERSIAL..NOT in the OUTCOME but In the CIRCUMSTANCES leading to the fight ...but for me it will not DIMINISH his GREATNESS or LEGACY...

This is also the same with the CALZAGHE vs ROY....I like ROY and i was rooting for him before the fight. If ROY would have been...
Both fighters are GREAT , I like them both and bound to hall of FAME, but though ROY is shot when CAL fought him it will in NO way diminish CAL's legacy...
