It was 5-4 margarito at time of stopage and each round that each fighter won isn't even debatable. These ***en judges are idiots damn pr home field advantage for santos. There have been worse cuts than this, damn doctor is ******ed!

Santos won the last round before the stoppage so it's not certain that Margarito was starting to come on. Santos is a scrappy dude and fights fire with fire. I Marg credit for fighting as he did but this fight could have gone either way.

I don't see this as a loss for Tony. It was clear that he was going to make his impact in the championship rounds. The momentum was shifting, in spite of the cut.

If the fight doesn't get stopped, Tony definitely wins that fight. In my head, the only person to ever actually beat Tony is Williams, and that fight to me was more about what Tony didn't do.

I kinda agree with that. I think it was more Margarito trying to figure out Williams. Williams was jabbing and making it hard for margarito to get inside. When he finally was able to, he had already given Williams 4 or 5 rounds.

the fight was about even,and could've shold've but didnt continue, that was one of those fights that either one of them could have won,margarito has stamina but santos had more skills and power,i wouldnt mind seen a 3rd fight

I couldn't see Santos winning any more than 3 rounds. Tony had him backed up the entire fight. Seriously, how is Margarito going to switch to southpaw and own a southpaw?
