margo and santos came in at the same weight for the weight in. same height. almost the same age, almost same reach. santos won the decision. always people complain about the fight being stop. he started slow. thats always the excuse with you mexican. same thing happen with cazares vs calderon. you going to a boxing match you try winning round from the beginning.

Santos came in 10 pounds heavier the night of the fight. I've watched his early fights, shortly after the Olympics and they used to list him at 6 feet tall, so he's a tall 5'11'', slightly taller than Tony. He's a large Super Welter and Tony moved up in weight to fight him. That's a fact. And while Tony moved up in weight to fight him, he was taking Santos shots, who happens to be very heavy handed, and giving him hell. That fight was strategically stopped at a point in the fight where it would be most beneficial to Daniel Santos. Margarito was coming on strong and Santos was beginning to crumble. The fight was in Puerto Rico with a Puerto Rican ref and Puerto Rican judges and a Puerto Rican doctor. Now if you don't think there was at least a little shady **** going on there then I don't know what to tell you. Tony had to KhimTFO to win that night, they just didn't allow him to.

Fighting in Puerto Rico should be no problem they moved half the island to the East Coast anyway.

I remember watching this fight a couple of years ago. It was very exciting and I disagree with the stoppage. The fight was very close though and could've gone either way had Margo been allowed to continue.

                    My scorecard:
                    1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
                    Santos| 10 9 10 9 9 10 9 9 10
                    Margarito| 9 10 9 10 10 9 10 10 9

                    Santos: 85
                    Margarito: 86

It was pretty much dead on with Harold Ledermans.

Margarito won that ****, and santos got lucky that it got stopped because he would of gotten steam rolled by the time the 11th came.
