I don't know much about Margarito..was never a fan saw a few fights before Cotto (Clottey,Williams,Johnson,Cintron)..never paid much attention to his weight on fight night..but he does look big boned and is 5'11..Cotto is also big boned but at 5'7/5'8..

And I give much credit to Mayweather for going up in weight and still being outweighed by 20lbs..But Mayweather/DLH is a MUCH different scenario than that of Margarito/Cotto..

margarito's advantage is a 3 inch height and 4 in reach. That's it. They both weigh about the same and cotto is much stockier than margarito. Margarito is skinny compared to miguel cotto. In fact cotto's thighs are 4 inches bigger than margarito!! and where does you're power come from?? Yes your lower body. They have the same forearm, same waist, same neck, wrist and fist size. Margarito is just better than miguel cotto quite trying to find excuses.
