Manny Has The Advantage Here : Building Up is easier then being drained.

As pro and amateurs here know. Its easier fighting in a higher division. Then draining yourself to make a lower division. Draining takes up valuable energy and muscle recoperation which is needed amongst pro boxers.

Im just gonna say it. Fighting at this weight, and looking at how uncomftorable Oscar is looking recently. Manny has the advantage. And Oscar has the disadvantage.

So i see it as a good fight.

That is true. I have no doubt Delahoya will be weak if this fight gets into the later rounds. But i will be surprised if Pac goes at Delahoya in the 1st part of the fight. Im sure we'll see Pac running for a few rounds. Delahoay being smart so he doesn't lose energy just has to wait for Pac to come to him unless Pac is going to fight like he did against Barrera(2nd time) and wait and wait and wait....

        Drained or not,
Delahoya's been known of slowing down in the later rounds...

Is that the reason Oscar was so sucksessful against Bernard?

It depends. The whole point of losing weight to make a lower division is to be stronger than fighting at the next weight up where you'd be fighting dudes who are also coming down to achieve the same advantage.

It only gets tricky when you're in a case like oscar. He wasnt lying when he said he can make 147 easy because that really is his natural fighting weight. Problem is he's 35, hasnt fought at that weight in 6yrs and has only fought once a year the past 4 years. So technically he's the fittest he's been in a long time but his body is unable to adapt

Oscar will be much faster and powerful now at 147.
                Pacquiao will be slower.

Pavlik was also very effective at 170 lbs.

oscar didn't look too bad against bernard before the "KO" punch.

but maybe bernard was taking it easy on him.

hopefully oscar does the same for pac in the early rounds.
