Quickest just might be Muhammad Ali. Famed historians Bill Cayton and Jim Jacobs once analized Ali's and Ray Robinsons jabs. They tested them frame by frame and concluded that Ali's had the quicker jab.

Today I'll say that the best jabs sits on Felix Sturm, Mikkel Kessler and Wlad Klitschko. Of them I think Sturm's is the fastest.

I think Judah might have the quickest right now... it's ****ing fast.

That little 4th round 3 punch combo that rocked Mayweather's head back was started with 2 jabs that were just lightning quick. I sometimes open that video just to watch those jabs... the left hand is just gravy at the end.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Roy Jones yet... he threw a 6 jab combination against Vinny Paz, and they were FAST.

I know next to nothing about boxing history though, so I'm not even close to qualified to be taken seriously in this thread.

In the modern game Malignaggi does deserve a mention.

He did become a world champion with that one punch alone, and nothing ever came off it. Malignaggi's jab is more power than any other shot he throws.

That said, Ricky Hatton yes Ricky Hatton smashed him with his jab.

Larry Holmes has a real quick powerful jab.
Ike Quartey's jab is fast and deadly.

Ike Quartey has the best jab I've seen though, it was the equivalent of a straight left.
