    I love this one...

Boxing is a tight-knit fraternity. Everybody knows everybody. But a line in the resin will forever be drawn separating those who step into the square ring and those who DON'T. Many, many people make money on a fight, but when the bell sounds, only two people answer it" - Randy Smith, February 2003, Journal Inquirer Newspaper - Manchester, CT

      Scully,

You've brought up this quote of yours for the millionth time.

Lets talk about, or rather, how do you see a Calzaghe - Dawson matchup at 175lbs. I know you try to hold back on your comments since you're still very much involved in the pro-fight community, but can you please give us a clear-cut pick, and not a "beat around the bush analysis". Thanks

OK, I think it's a pretty even fight ALL THINGS CONSIDERED...but, again, all things considered, I would go with Chad by decision...Chad in great shape...Eddie tells me he's got him running those steeeeeep mountains just outside Vegas now...Chad is taller than Joe...rangier...coming into his own mentally as he showed against Tarver...Chad is much younger, much fresher, great jab...wants to prove himself...has great legs, something that at this stage of the game neither Ant or RJ has anymore....motivation on his side with the physical tools to compliment it...Chad has such range with his style and size...unlike ANYTHING Joe has ever seen before...You cannot even count Bernard and RJ at this point as compared to what they were in their primes...Chad has skills, size, enthusiasm and range to GO ALONG WITH His youthful desire and vigor...I don't feel that what worked with B-Hops and RJ would work at this stage of the game with Chadwick. I'd write more for you but... I gotta' get out from behind this bush and go eat dinner
