Yeah, I thought so too, especially psyhologically. However, I've also considered it could work against him given his hands would be out stretched....not a good thing.

I was never fond of the Foreman vs. Tyson match up. Unlike other opponents against Tyson, Foreman might be the one guy to finish Tyson off when and if he gets Tyson hurt. Of course, since Tyson goes into fight/clinch mode, you never know what happens if Foreman gets caught...could end up like Foreman vs. Lyle.

People like to bring up Frazier, but I don't think it was quite the same:

Like somebody already mentioned, Tyson's weight was what he trimmed down to; he has a naturally large frame, where Frazier carries most of his weight in his ass and thighs. Tyson, unlike Frazier, is a two handed power puncher with speed and accuracy. I also consider Tyson better at agility, and elusiveness. Tyson was better at seeing the punches coming as well as being able to bob and weave instead of just bobbing most of the time. Tyson's chin is better as well. Balance as well. Oh, and Tyson's isn't a plodder.

Was Frazier blind in one eye at this point and the other was "iffy"?

Heart/Will of course is favored in Frazier.

Overall skill and ability is to Tyson.

Many flaws in Foreman's game that Mike could expoit, but would he be able to is the question.

Foreman and Liston would both take Tyson out, imo, with Tua (the 220 lb version) and Ibeabuchi being very competitive. 67 or 68 Ali was almost unhitable as well. Those three I'd give the best chance against him.

i assume the mid 90s fight that never happened, then Tyson on the cards. Foreman was terrible against Moorer and the Briggs fight.......pfft.

I'm going with 80's Tyson by UD. But I guess it depends on which versions of which fighters you match up...

Any fighter who comes to a prime Foreman will lose. Period. Tyson would have to force Foreman into being the aggressor and box. Perhaps the worst possible matchup for him.
