I don't it will effect him much in the fight but I believe this is what Roach is talking about when he says he knows "why Oscar stopped jabbing in the fight and why he can no longer pull the trigger"
Oscar's best hand is the left and without a healthy left hand it gives Roach hope. He did after all.. look horrible against Stevie Forbes and completely abandoned the jab in the Mayweather fight.
Like I said though, It shouldn't be too much of an issue nore should it be an excuse.. why? because Oscar already has every other advantage vs Pacquiao. It'd be leveling things a little more.
