cotto should stay active and competitive rather than sitting in the next 6 months. not fighting within the next six months would not be good for him. margarito is set to fight mosley. he should also fight. he may have problem with the money but that's the reality, he is a champion no more.

I dont think it was a money issue but rather that Cotto doesnt really feel like he should be taking these fights anymore. As his team stated they wanted a true top 10 guy and although there is somehting to be said against a potentially easy matchup for a title it would do little to prepare him for Margarito. Now throw all that out the window cause Cotto seems like a guy with a lot of pride and he wont take kindly to Arum making a statement like this. Truly what is Arum thinking? Your fighter wants to fight the best so go out there and get him best, get Clottey, get Collazo, get Williams thats who Cotto wants.
