I love Steve's commentary whether or not I agree with him all the time, he is unbiased and professional. You can see his genuine love for the sport. he is also a great editor and writer...
That being said, the man is not made for television, god bless him. I was rewatching the bute-andrade travesty last night, delirious from lack of sleep, work and training and I invented a funny game. during steve's monologue, all you have to do is keep pausing and unpausing. each face that it pauses on is an absolute gem. I can't believe how many facial expressions this man goes through within 2 minutes of talking.
i don't smoke weed anymore, but this can be a fun addition to the game. after you have enjoyed each of the 1000 faces, try watching the entire monologue and it is equally entertaining. This guy is the sh%t! he may not have the face for tv, but thats what makes him great. just a nice, genuine, knowledgable, intelligent dude, without all that plastic surgery/teeth whitening **** that plagues some of the other commentators (that shall remain nameless). War STEVE!
