Williams vs Margarito or Clottey Vs Margarito

Hopkins Calzaghe 2 would be worth watching this time, because I think Hopkins will be more aggressive.

I agree with the bold. That's why I want to see the rematch so much. It would be a much better fight.

Hmm. I beg to differ. In my book Joe fought the worst he's fought in years and Hopkins ran out of steam. Next time will be a near shut-out IMO. Dont let the Pavlik fight fool you. Pavlik is definetely no Joe Calzaghe.

The main reason he fought like **** is because of Hopkins IMO. Not because he just had a bad night. If Hopkins didn't get so tired, I think he would have beat Joe. But then again, I'm a Hopkins nuthugger and I don't much like Calzaghe. I can admit that.

The real reason I didn't put Cotto vs. Margarito on is because I want him to have to live with that loss.

Of course there's some sense in what you wrote, but I still say it was a different Joe that fought Lacy, Kessler and well..... RJJ. I feel that the chances are bigger that Hopkins gets even more tired second time around considering he's even older next time.

With your next post, your rep power will go up to 18.

You might be right. We will likely never know the answer though.

I realize that Pavlik is no Calzaghe but he seemed to have a new fire ignited in himself. I don't doubt that he would be more offensive in the rematch and that would make for a better fight. He also has a lot of momentum coming off that win.

I definitely see your logic though.
