just a hunch....but i think its more interesting to the boxing public to have a guy trying to win titles at multiple weights at the same time, than fighting a "mandatory" no one cares about, then HOPING one of the other belt holders accepts a unification w/ you....just a hunch.

now if it was berto, margarito, or clottey, one of the other BELT HOLDERS at WW, that wanted to fight him, and PW decided to move up, you'd have an argument.....but were talking about a ****ty madatory here...come better....

it's one thing for a guy to not fight you b/c he has another fight for more money, but its a lil different when you're the biggest money fight available, AND you beat the guy, but he won't fight you again.....

i know you're a margarito fan, but if the situation was reversed and PW wouldn't fight margarito again, after margarito beat him, AND the rematch was the biggest fight on the table for PW, i'd feel the same way about him.....

nothing personal against margarito, i'm just trying to understand his logic....

Paul Williams lost his belt in his first WW title defense..lol.. go tit back and is now after having a fight at MW , going to JMW to get a belt..

dont give me this he wants to have title in three classes and defend them all. he cant even defnd the one he has at WW.. you cant go two fights and not expect to get stripped w/o defending your title . dude, is a comedian...

there wasn't enough money available to make the clottey fight in November. the reason i left clottey out is b/c he was THE ONLY beltholder at WW to accept the PW fight...just wasn't enough money....

he had a choice, but i'm pretty damn sure he wasn't aware he'd be stripped of his strap at WW by taking a fight for another belt at JMW.....considering it was the same sanctioning body for the belt he held at WW.

he had already stated his PLANS were to hold belts at WW, JMW, & MW, AND defend them ALL simultaneously.....what can he do if he's STRIPPED?
