bernard hopkins had 20 defenses, and over 10 years of being undefeated at MW..... he lost to JT twice, but since he had more defenses than JT hopkins was still #1 at MW? gtfoh man!!!!
surely you understand the quite simple logical argument that many people make that says "when you've beaten the man, you become the man....."
margarito HAD 9 defenses, then he fought PW.....but somehow those 9 previous defenses, dismisses that?

bottom line is, cotto was at the top, margarito beat him, so now many view margarito as being on top.....
my question is plain and simple....the fact that margarito is the top gun, and PW beat him, means nothing as far as PW being able to call himself the man?
beating cotto was only icing on the cake. Has anyone else beaten cotto? no. has anyone else beaten more top10 ww's then margarito? NO. So tell me if margarito doesn't deserve to be the top ww then who does?
