oscar is getting all the hate cuz he is fighting a much smaller man, when there are bigger challenges out there.... p. williams, margarito, forrest would all give oscar much tougher fights, but he's takin the easy way out so he gets the hate...

on the other hand, pac is taking the BIG challenge, so he doesnt get any hate...

now tell me...what would you rather have? the above scenario or this december 6th bull**** and no margarito fight til next year?

kinda pisses you off dont it? i know it gets me firey

Dude I don't like the fight any more than you do, trust me. I want to see the same fights you do more than this. But it is what it is. Who does Oscar fight for more $$$$$$$ than Pac other than Hatton?? Who brings Pac more $$$$$??? Oscar tried to fight Hatton but Hatton refused. They are both chasing the money but yet Oscar gets called the greedy one. Oscar has no balls for picking on the small guy but he's fought the who's who of this generation.

Yes it upsets me, but I know I would of done the same. I know you would too.

I have no problem with Oscar getting hate, hell we all know he fights for money.

My prob is that Manny isnt getting hate for doing the same thing Floyd did.

People say Floyd is a ducker cuz he just chased De La Hoya and didnt defend his titles against the best at 135, 140, 147

Well Manny won the LW title against the weakest champ, has plenty of challenges at 135 but instead chooses to not defend his belt and fight De La Hoya for money.

Like I said,I got no prob with Manny cashing out but I dont like people critizing Floyd for fighting De La Hoya and not fighting the other contenders and yet Manny is doing the same thing.

I will say this, Manny could possibly go back and fight Marquez, and other guys like that, but it seems like he's just gonna dump the 135 belt and just chase paydays.

Another thing is that people blab about Manny being such a smaller man against De La Hoya but Floyd was 5'7 and he beat Oscar. Manny also looks ripped and looks like he muscled his way into his new weight as opposed to being fat at a new weight.

Like I said, Manny can go ahead and cash out, thats cool, but I just find it weird that Manny can skip challenges at his weight class to chase paydays and be praised while Floyd did the same thing and was made to be a chump.

O and as far as Oscar, I think we all know Oscar's shame left many years ago for money

Agree on all counts about Pac not getting the hate that Floyd got...but here is the thing...Manny is showing that he will keep boxing, but just that he is now "grown" (bodywise) and is no longer going to drain himself making weight at 135lb he is much more comfortable fighting at his "walk-around" weight (150-160lbs), and has already commented that he will stay at jr. welter (140lb). And in my opinion, he isn't trying to avoid any fighters or as some would say "clean up the division", but he is making smart fights regardless of risk/ reward. If he fights Hatton, wouldn't that be a HUGE Risk HUGE Reward? I myself would like to see a JMM/ Pac III, but to be realistic, that fight won't happen. Reason being - JMM is not a big enough draw to entice Bob "Buku Bucks" Arum to place in front of Manny...remember Manny always says that he fights "whoever they put in front me".
Floyd is getting alot of hate for two main reasons: 1- Is very quick with his mouth about being the best (he is/was) and how no one could beat him (yet alot of fighters out there issued challenges with no response from Floyd. Ex. Margarito offer of $4 mil?)
2- He retired when he was p4p king, but yet very much in his prime. Of course everyone and their momma wants a piece of you when you have that title (hence everyone chasing Pac from Super Featherweight and up). Just my 2 cents on this thread...

Not really an ‘argument’ per se Dice…discussion is more suitable….i agree with a majority of your points and the only thing I’m saying is that they would be valid if Pacquiao doesn’t take care of business afterwards….if its cherry-picking from this point out, then I’ll be there calling him out as well…

Pac is naturally smaller than De La Puta........
And DLH was smaller than Hopkins, but yet Hopkins didn't get no heat.

De La Puta is gay for saying this fight is personal.......
Every fight is personal....would you want a loss on your record?? That's personal enough for me for your opponent to try and give you a loss.

De La Puta is picking on a smaller guy.....
                    ..

Again, so did Sturm/Hopkins picked on DLH??

De La Puta didnt keep his word regarding the Cotto/Margarito winner.....
DLH fights who he wants, sad but true.
