Again, because Pac has no form at this weight it's very difficult to know how much of himself he can bring out of the lower divisions.

It's a mistake to automatically assume he'll be as quick. You don't add 10-15lbs+ to your natural fighting weight and not have it impact on your speed. Still - he should be quicker than Ricky.

Whilst Pac is a pretty heavy hitter, I can't see him worrying Ricky too much beyond a flash knockdown through a well-timed punch and/or Hatton being off balance when hit. I don't think it's possible for Pac to clean KO Ricky.

Stamina remains a question. Pac has gassed in the latter rounds of a few fights after throwing everything at this opponent early on. If he does this against Hatton (or even worse ODH) he'll finish the fight on his back. As sure as hens laying eggs. Without the ability to finish the fight early he's going to have to pace himself. That'll require discipline and I'm not sure Pac buys into the D-word. Bad enough having to cope with harder hitters (who sap energy just as quickly as movement and punching) who are also bigger and using that size advantage to wear you out in clinches etc.

Pac has to swarm and then GTFO. Swarm and then GTFO.

Floyd Sr. is probably rubbing his hands with glee at the prospect of some of Pac's wild lunges (I know Floyd Jr. would be). You can bet he's watching the tapes even now - looking for opportunities to deliver lethal counterpunching.

Again - Discipline. Manny just can't afford to come rushing in like a maniac as he is prone to do. JMM caught him time and time again. With the extra weight Hatton will KILL him time and time again.

And that's the rub. With Billy Graham in the corner it's a long shot for Manny. With Floyd Sr. I suspect it's a shot through the forehead.

But this is boxing - so who knows?

i love ricky but ricky does not have the counterpunching skills of jmm , wump.

if he tries to counterpunch in his fight with pac...... it won't be good for him.

the fight will be ricky coming in constantly and pac throwing everything at him to keep him off.

it'd be a great fight. it'd be like a 140 version of marg-cotto tbh. if pac gets worn down like cotto did , pac will get ktfo. if ricky can't take pac's punches as good as marg took cotto , pac will win.

i love pacman, i really do, but after oscar, i think he'll be ruined. hatton is too big and too strong for the little guy. i would be absolutely delighted if pac proved me wrong in both fights though.... thrilled!

I really think that Pacquiao would destroy Hatton. I don't know if Hatton is going to remain with Mayweather as a trainer, but if he continues to train with him then Hatton might develop into a force to be reckoned with.

I am a Hatton fan. But Pacquiao is my hero. Depending how Pac-Man Handles the 147 weight, 140 wouldn't be too bad.

But Pacquiao's gotta get through DLH first. Let's not count the chickens before they hatch.
