As far as being beaten by most fighters with a good chin and decent skills: There is no way to say that based on one fight with Hopkins, who is known for creating great game plans to take fighters best attributes away. It worked against Calzaghe and he still won a close fight. It worked against Pavlik and he didn't win. Pavlik has beat good fighters with skill and chins, such as Taylor. This would make your statement a bias opinion at best.

If you want to criticise Jones, say that he should have learned to fight fundamentally so that he could have extended his competetive career or that he should have not hit Griffin while he was on a knee to go 50-0 before losing to Tarver @ 35 years of age. The win by Joe was a good win, but not great. Jones is nowhere near what he was prior to heavyweight.

I do rank him as a boxer. Hes currently the best at 160. But I dont like his style, nor think hes anything special. I think Abraham and Sturm both beat him. Learn to accept others opinions. Taylors chin is questionable and his skill is too. Hes a great athlete but has a lot of fundamental flaws.

I never said Toney wasnt the best at 168. He was. That doesnt mean Jones fought the best throughout his career. In fact, this was the only time (unless you count his losses).

Lol @ your logic. Cos Toney hadnt been to Cruiserweight means he wasnt drained? He looked in slow motion that night and was walking straight in. I give Jones credit for the win cos he was exceptional that night but I dont close my eyes and cover my ears when it comes to Toneys weight issues. Like you talk about Jones not being at his best against Joe, neither was Toney against Roy. Some people can give credit regardless.
