The unfortunate incident took place within the last 24 hours and was confirmed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. No further details are available at this time. Last Saturday night Gibson refereed the fight Ben Tackie and Matthew Hatton.

This reminds me of when Mitch Halpern commitied suicide many years ago. I was only a kid then, but i remember. It's always sad to see anyone pass. But for Gibson to go right after working a fight. Damn. My best goes out to his loved ones.
