I love Paulie's personality and really wanted him to beat Hatton, but...whatever it was that he had once, it's gone. Having seen his last 3 fights, I really do not want to see another one anytime soon.

If you can't overcome your psychological problems for the biggest fight of your career, what's the point in continuining? If he can't let his go for the defining fight of his career, what would be the point of doing so in the future against someone else? I struggle to see how he can motivate himself in the future.

Time to retire. I feel bad for him because his persona is absolutely hilarious and he's obviously a decent guy...but he ain't got it.

What's weird is that almost every right hand he threw landed flush and one even turned Hatton around. It's not like they weren't being effective for him, but he simply could not throw them at all. He has talked about retirement before, I hope he has enough money and another career lined up.

I felt Paulie could've won the fight, and his right hands were working well when he used them. I also did notice during the fight, especially in the beginning, that Paulie did appear stronger than Ricky. He was pushing him into the ropes when they clinched and made Hatton back up.

I didn't like Paulie before this fight and like him even less after it. Hatton owned him and he looked like ****. I was glad his pathetic attempt to simply go the distance was cut short.

Read the interview. I don't think you can knock a guy that's had 4 SURGERIES on 4 BROKEN right hands. If you can't appreciate the heart in a guy like that, you've obviously never fought. You don't know what's going through his head and you never will.

Nooooooo......he still has alot to offer IF he gets over the injury psychologically, i see plenty of fights for him. Be wrong to retire now and i felt he would have been close to Hatton if he fought back....and yeah he made 7 figures is what i know.

Paulie doesn't seem to be giving Hatton much credit for the win.

He said so himself that his right hand was fine so i think he should continue boxing. He is still a good boxer.
