I personally think David Haye should fight Wladimir Klitschko after he faces Hasim Rahman. V. Klitschko-Gomez goes to the purse bids on 12/19/08. Vitali was considered Haye's first choice, if so we'll have to wait even longer if he decides to fight Wladimir Klitschko older brother, Vitali.

They won't let Haye anywhere near Vlad. Vitali is the only klitschko that can handle Haye. Although Haye will still spark him the **** out.

I dont think Wladimir's handlers are afraid to match him up against Haye

I think they would rather VK face Haye first knowing that Haye stands a good chance
        of Knocking vlad out

I think Haye will have to fight someone else, as Wlad is fighting Rahman, and Vitali has to face Gomez. I just hope Haye fights someone legitimate who is not over the hill. Barret was hand-picked by Hayes camp last time. I guess he could fight Sam Peter? Would be a good fight.
Personally I think Wlad or Vitali would beat him, he just wont get past their jab. But I also agree that his best chance would be against Wlad, but a punchers chance only.

Haye should fight just to keep busy. He should also hope that Rahman doesnt blast Wlad the f##k out by accident, bc that would hold up the belts w/ rematches and all for like a year. I think he should fight a Guinn, Maskeav, or one of the Ibragimovs

Oleg Maskaev would be the best fight for Haye to take at this time. He wants to ease into Heavyweight so the best way for him to do that will be against a big tall heavyweight with a jab and some power. Fighting a fat middleweight won't help and fighting a short brawler isn't going to give him much insight either.

Maskaev is a (Ring magazine) top ten guy as well.
