Just when every super featherweight moved up to lightweight to chase Manny Pacquiao, they have to move up a little further. Pacquiao is jumping from 135 to 147 for the fight with Oscar De La Hoya on December 6. After the fight, win or lose, Pacquiao will drop down to 140 and probably try to land a fight with Ricky Hatton. During the last year, Joan Guzman, Juan Manuel Marquez and Edwin Valero jumped to lightweight in search of Pacquiao, who only fought once at the weight. [details]

Iono bout all this Ronnie bull**** but after the 2nd episode of 24/7 i was sold on Pacquiao. The height difference between him and his sparring partners was nowhere near as big of a discrepancy as most think and looked good defensively. Bobbing and weaving and doing great ducking left hooks. Dlh though was clearly uncomfortable sparring and getting bombed with straight lefts by dudes alot slower than Pacquiao.Comment

I dont think Juan Manuel Marquez would fight Diaz either and would jump to 140 and try to secure a fight with Hatton before Pacquiao can.Comment

Diaz just doesnt have the name. I think there's still a chance for JMM/Diaz. After Hatton there's no one better to fight for JMM.Comment

You cant con the camera and during his sparring bits he clearly had a look of discomfort on his face when he was throwing punches and when he looked right at the camera after the final roundComment

So looks he won't be dropping all the way back down to lighweight then, would be some good fights for him at 140 etc Hatton, and we could see JM Marquez move up to 140 for the trilogy.Comment
