This version of Jones would get crushed again by Johnson, though I had Glen winning the Dawson fight 7-5, so it's a mute point. Adamek is about equal to Kessler, so Calzaghe has the edge even before you get to his other 20 or so defenses.

I think that sums it up. He's a damn good fighter but Im not completely won over yet. But at least he wants to prove he's the best. And so far he's proven to be at or near the top of a pretty decent division. Well see how good he is if Hops or Joe decide to face him.

We need new faces, It would great for the sport if he becomes a success. It's time for the old lions to return to their pride.

Adamek has had a good win or two since the Dawson fight, since he moved up in weight and isn't drained anymore. But explain to me who he beat prior to fighting Chad en route to winning a vacant title and defending it twice. Kessler at least won two titles, neither of them vacant, and defended the first 4 times. How you could conclude that the Adamek win was not only better, but substantially better, is beyond me.

Umm..just because he beat O'Neil Bell - a former cruiser champ and one of the five best cruisers in the world - AFTER Dawson doesn't mean it doesn't count. Weight drained my a**. When did he tell you that? PLUS, Adamek's victory over Ulrich pretty much equals Kessler's career.
