    will cotto ever beat tony??

I was just watching cotto -v- margarito and if they ever fight again i cant see one way in which cotto can win.
First of all he hit tony flush tons of times with the best shots he has and it just made tony smile, I know people say you can box but in a fight you the idea is to hurt the opponent and if you cant hurt tony he's gona keep walking forward all night long.
Also cotto tried out boxing him and basically didnt have enough gas to keep the pressure off for 12 rounds.
Most importantly is cotto's mind frame, he took a beating in the second half of the fight and when he steps back in there and hits tony again with no effect will he break mentally in just a few short rounds???
The only way i can see cotto winning is that somehow tony has got real old over night and he cant keep going for twelve rounds and that tonys punch resistance just disapears like lacys did after the calzaghe fight.
So apart from the very low odd's of that happening i think cotto only has to chance slim and none and slim just left the building.
    thanks.

      yes.

cotto will make adjustments and he'll beat antonio by decision in the rematch setting up a rubber match.

Cotto can choose to not fight off the ropes... he can choose to hit tony's body more and he can DEFINITELY beat Tony. You seriously have to factor in the busted nose he dealt with for 9 rounds. That had a lot to do with his gassing out and literally not being able to hold his arms up anymore... That is why he took the knee and his corner through in the towel.

        Cotto will win.

Its all well and good saying he had a bad nose, but in most cotto fights his face becomes a mess, howabout when it looked like his gum shield went through his lip when he took those monsterous uppercuts from zab judah?? personally i dont think cotto could make the adjustments, he's simply not long enough or hits hard enough to keep tony at a distance.
I'd rather see cotto win but i cant see its going to happen

all the damage cause by tony was done cotto leaning on the ropes (same thing it happen against ricardo torres)

margarito is very predictable, instead of cotto leaning he should clinch more.

you should go in there and show him how it's done.

yeah if he tightens up his defense he won't get hit as much but that's no guarantee for victory

NO Cotto is going to get his ass handed to him again. Hopefully he takes his beating like a man this time.
