Tua vs. Arreola

First off, does anyone know when Tua is set to fight Arreola? (Chris has a match up with Travis Walker this weekend, so I imagine sometime early 2009?)

Secondly, how do you feel about this fight and how do you think it will pan out?

The winner of the fight apparently will go on to fight Sam Peter afterwards, again, your thoughts and predictions for this?


At the very least I am excited to see Tua back again; I love watching him, and to be frank, he's been ****ed over a lot by the boxing system. Apparently he's in a good physical and mental state, but wants a 60 day training camp before any fight he signs for.

I dont that fight ever happens

Arreola and Walker are fighting an eliminator which means they are in line for a title shot. Last time I checked Tua holds no titles other than the one he won at the Rio for buffet style eating

Ack, my apologies, the source I read was dated further back than I realised; Tua/Arreola was meant to happen earlier and the winner would fight the victor from Klit vs Peter.

i think this story is old......and dead.

tua-arreola was suppose to be scheduled for the date of walker-arreola and winner was suppose to get a shot at peter if vitali-peter doesn't get made.

tua and arreola's people couldn't agree on the purse and the fight died.

arreola then signed a fight with walker and tua now is scheduled to fight someone else.

i doubt either gets a shot at vitali now that he beat peter.
