Yup, drunk rather than punch drunk. He is an idiot, though.. it really wouldn't kill him to give up the beer for just a couple of years before he retires, 'jack the lad' or not. If he loses a tight decision to DLH he'll never forgive himself, and won't deserve a lot of sympathy.. you don't see Oscar drinking pints of Guinness.

Ricky does the occasional theatre show over here called "An Evening with Ricky Hatton", mixing autobiography, boxing stories and answering audience questions. He is actually a very funny, and (relatively speaking) clever guy. I strongly recommend going if you can to the Brits here, he's doing a few more in the New Year with Frank Bruno as special guest. I've got tickets for one in January; it will be interesting to see how much weight he puts on in a couple of months.
