I have only seen a few clips of him so i dont know how good he is, Is he good enough to beat Froch? I am looking forward to seeing this fight.
Is Pascal any good?

And also how he copes with fighting away from home some 6 timezones away.
The crowd will also be hostile. I wonder how many spectators there will be? Does anyone know how big a draw Froch is in Britain?Comment

Froch isn't a massive draw just yet. He can fill an Arena in our hometown, so you're looking at around 8000+, but it's the British patriotism that sets our fans apart from the rest.
Also, the fact the fight is on prime-time TV doesn't help ticket sales, although me and 7 others have our tickets ready to see our hometown boy lift a World-Title. I may be reduced to tears in the moment........i'm counting down the days!
To whoever was saying Pascal's speed could cause problems, Froch's handspeed is underrated and his power is what will make the difference. Put that on a granite chin, and Pascal is in trouble. Of course, this is all bias, but what do you expect when your hometown hero is fighting for a World-title. We need to put Robin Hood aside, and look to a new legend.Comment

be about 8000 at Nottingham Ice Stadium, crowd will be passionate and noisy, expect cries of Who R Ya, Who R ya as Pascal enters the ring. Pleanty of footy songs.Comment

It doesn't, although that's a very smart move by Froch overall. In the PPV and subscription age there is little recognition of any British fighter by the public at large, aside from Hatton, Calzaghe and possibly now Haye. The guy whose fights are on terrestrial TV is the one who can build up a large following in future, providing (unlike Fraudley and Khan) he can actually do the business when it counts. It's not absolutely essential - Hatton has never been on terrestrial - but it helps. The spell of the Frank Warren/ITV contract did wonders for Calzaghe as even casual sports fans actually got to see him fight for a while.
Enjoy the fight!Comment
