Just because he went there on holiday once don't make him finnish right.
How Finnish is the Manchine?

TheManchine:
1) has an American perspective on boxing
2) frequently uses "Americanisms" in his English
3) posts most frequently at times that would make sense for a person in the Eastern time zone of the US, but would be 3 to 6 am in Finland.
TheManchine is one of our most knowledgeable posters, too bad he doesn't seem to really like any European fighters. -

I am a Canadian who lived for 6 years in The UK.. I used North Americanisims.. I posted at odd hours.. Often between 12 am and 5 am .. I do not favour any Canadian fighters.. nor do I favour English fighters..TheManchine:

My point.. No one questioned me.. and why would it matter??.. You make the important point.. the man knows his boxing.. why should anything else matter on a boxing forum???Comment

Finland used to a part of the Swedish kingdom until the Russians conquered our lands. The Swedish language stayed and is taught to every Finnish citizen over the age of 12.
There's still a minority of about 6% speaking the Swedish language as their first.
It's not as important as it used to be though, I can hardly speak any of it myself.Comment
