Agreed that Hatton has looked to fight the best. Unfortunately, in the big scheme of things, wins over Juan Urango and Carlos Maussa, along with Collazo don't mean much. They certainly don't mean HOF. But Hatton's carved out a nice career for himself. I hope he hope gets one more defining fight before he bows.
Hattons Resume.

Treat people has you want to be treated...
SO
i was saying that i wish british fighters like Hatton wouldnt have 40 fights
back home against half washed up fighters then come to the states at the tail end of there careers to fight.
They should start straight away showing up on undercards in the states
against there washed up fighters etc etc...
Dont leave it to late for it all to be a shock when they do come to the states...
Its the reason why they get fcuk all respect..
Not from me but from the American boxing writers press etcComment

He was not at the tail end of his career when he started fighting in the states or against top class fighters.
Please go and find a Calzaghe thread.Comment

This is blatantly not the case with Hatton. Just because he had 30 odd fights doesn't mean he is past his best, he just started young (19) and fought often (46 fights in 11 years), working his way up the ranks like boxers are supposed to do.

I dont hate on Hatton im a fan i watch his fights but **** only
started from Kostya.
And i would say he is past his best a little..Comment

It funny that this support comes when it was nowhere to be seen after the Mayweather fight. Nobody was willing to legitimize Mayweather's KO of Hatton back then by crediting Hatton's resume. Even his fans. Lol.. I love that.Comment
-
So the fact that in his next fight after the defeat to Mayweather, he went on to sell 55,000+ tickets against Lazcano means nothing to you?Comment
-
Just because his fans are suportive of Hatton doesn't mean that they gave Mayweather any real credit for winning. It was "Cortez" this and "Weight class" that. Both of which are just ****** excuses.Comment
