Its true, Ricky's resume is underrated. Look at his last 8 fights.

Tszyu - King of the Junior Welters for years, P4P No.2

Maussa - WBA Champion at 140

Collazo - WBA Champ at 147

Urango - IBF Champ at 140

Castillo - Ranked No1 contender by the Ring at 140, Ranked P4P No.6 by the Ring

      Mayweather - P4P King

Lazcano - Tune up but still ranked 7th at JWW

Paulie - IBF Champ at 140, Ranked No.1 Contender by the Ring

Thats three P4P Top 10 fighters and 4 world champions in 8 fights.

It's a good resume no doubt, and losing to Floyd is in no way shameful.

BUT, it's not as convincing is you make it out to be.

Kostya came off a long lay off, was still a good fighter, but not prime.

Maussa and Urango were average champs.

Collazo had Hatton in trouble clearly stating Welter is no place for him. Some actually had Collazo win.

Castillo was clearly not the fighter he once was, also fighting above his best weight. Side note - Castillo has a very impressive resume.

Lazcano was past prime, yet a prime Lazcano was never anything special, but for a tune up, it was competetive at times.

However, Paulie was a great win, and the only man at 140 that mattered for Hatton. A fight now with the DLH - Pac fight for a payday is well deserved.

Im not talking about how the fights went. But just the fact that Hatton took fights against 3 P4Pers and 4 World Champions in 8 fights is impressive.

No one was talking about how shot each fighter was until after Ricky beat them.

Not completely true people talked about Kostya's long lay off and plenty of people were talking about how Castillo was shot or at least way past his best days all before Hatton won those fights.

yeah, its decent, but the fact that tszyu and floyd are on it makes it a lot better.
