Because he is left handed. I think 06 was a while back and the injury has healed as he has been inactive. However, if the injury comesback he will be ****ed! He would have to turn southpaw and pop the right jab.

for what it's worth to you guys, i can let you know from experience as i have a slight tear in my left rotator cuff, i've had it for 3 years, and rest does not fix it.

for everyday life it does not bother me at all, but in boxing, it does effect me.

basically i can still bench press 1 off with similar strength to what i did before the injury, but if i h throw 10-15 jabs in quick succession...the shoulder weakens, has a burning sensation...it feels lactic. Before the injury i could box a full round just pumping a jab.

frustrating injury, as surgery can fix it, but i'm just amateur, and not interested in the 6 months rehabilitation, time off work, etc.

          regards,

          D

Oscar never got surgery for the injury. Sometimes it can heal on its own, but I have the same injury and mine never healed fully and tears ever so often when I'm working out. It's just a continues repeat of injuries. It sucks.

I won't get surgery because someone I know had torn his shoulder bad, although worse than mine, and he had to get several surgeries done because the first surgery wasn't successful despite going to one of the top Docs on the East Coast. And he still isn't fully better and never will. He wished he had never got the surgery.

Some people just don't want to take the risk, especially fighters. It's why Vernon Forrest waited so long and even him, I think he had several surgeries to correct the problem.

Oscar likes his big Check every year.
Interesting insight on a rotatorcuff-injury. The same injury Jeff Lacy got when he fought Tsypko.

As for DLH's alleged problem I consider it BS in yet another attemp to make the fight seem competitive.

Talking about the if's and but's about this ANCIENT injury is same as speculating over a fresh injury occuring....

                      Maybe.

Do you think people caught on that Pac is tiny so Oscar had to release some b.s. to say it's a fair fight because I'm injured?

I don't know why they just didn't keep the camera at a lower angle to make Pac look big like they do in the movies with some of the "smaller" actors.
