    What a ****** topic...

Who has Hopkins beat so far? That robbery against an average Steve Forbes? Jesus, what a resume he has.

Torres is known for his life and death battle against Cotto... but he lost.

Him and Holt are the best wins on each other's resume... I guess they are legit, but... really, no more so than Paulie, who had beaten a good fighter in Ngoudjo and a decent fighter in N'dou.

Judah had a good stint at 140 and 147, but... he's lost like 100 fights in a row Dino. He sucks.

Moral of the story: 140 sucks, and anyone Hatton fights is going to suck.

There is no such thing as a legit 140 pounder other than Hatton at this moment.

maybe he can "tune-up" against judah. there is still money in that and judah is very formidable at 140. that would be EXCITING!
They could even fight at a catchweight, like 144 or something. Loser retires!

calzaghe told hatton to target old legends. too bad there are no old shot fighters to fight at 140 unless chavez wants to come outta retirement. possibly azumah nelson?

                  Tim Bradley.

                  But it'll never happen.

Those with memories longer than five minutes will recall that when the fight was announced Malignaggi was supposed to 'the man' at 140. Nobody was bull****ting about how Hatton should be fighting Bradley or any of those guys then. As has been said there just aren't any credible opponents at 140 for Ricky at this stage of his career. Bradley, Holt etc may or may not be in the same class of boxers as Hatton, but they are pygmies in terms of marketability. Bradley in front of maybe 12,000 in Vegas or DLH or the Pacman in front of 100,000 at Wembley with proportionate TV receipts - which would you fr*gging choose coming up to retirement?!

I'm not a Hatton fan, but Hatton doesn't duck anyone. I can understand why he wouldn't be interested in fighting some of these lesser named guys.
