I agree though, as far as willingness to give it his best shot is concerned Sakio will always do that. Green's effort against Mundine on the other hand was a disgrace.

How do you think Sakio would fare against Mundine? I would obviously like to see Bika win it but I don't see it tbh.

He had dropped Beyer several times and opened up two massive cuts from clean punches before the referee DQ'd Green for an intentional butt which he said caused the cut - video evidence proves this to be false. Beyer was in truth a very ordinary and over-protected fighter.

Calzaghe had an absolutely horrible night against Bika and Sakio's dirty and spoiling tactics got to him a little - I wouldn't use that fight as any kind of measuring stick.

I am well aware that triangle theories do not work but remember that Bika dropped a fight to Soliman - a man Mundine has defeated three times.

Bika just isn't very good. He is a tough guy and a pretty strong pressure fighter, but he is significantly lacking in skills. Mundine would fight the fight in a very similar fashion to his confrontations with Green and Echols. HE would simply stay on the outside and use his hand and foot speed to effectively take Sakio out of the fight.

If that was the case why couldn't Green beat him the 2nd fight? Beyer is a **** ball fighter, but it is clear that Byer took Green lightly in the first fight and in the 2nd mustered up a much better performance and getting the win.

Mundine will win the fight from the outside, like he wins all his fights. He will use his jab and stay out of harms way. If they go to war, which is highly unlikely Bika would have some success fighting on the inside.

Bika will just give the fight 110 % effort and might make the fight uncomfortable for Mundine.

Mundine will fight like he did against Kessler, and that is scared.

I agree, it is clear that whenever Mundine comes up against a guy with power that he thinks can hurt him he basically fights like a rabbit and just uses his hand and foot speed advantage to win boring fights on the outside. This plan obviously backfires on him when he comes up against a guy who is better technically than he is - ie. Kessler.

I think Mundine would make this a boring fight and win it pretty easily.

I made that comment more in response to Irish's use of Bika's fight against Beyer as a supporting argument for Bika being superior to Green. I do think Beyer took Green far to easily as is shown by what happened in the second fight when he prepared properly.

Prime Green vs Bika - who you think takes it?
