speedbag question

i'm looking to buy a new speedbag, but i want to size down from the medium 6''x9'' bag i have currently... is there a huge difference between a small 5''x8'' and an xsmall 4''x6''?? what are the benefits of the xsmall? what size do most of you use? i'm kinda stumped between the small and xsmall.. help!
