Keep whining like a little bit** cause that's what you really are. You probably never been in a real fight before. You little whimp stop riding my **** and shut the f*** up before I make your mother my fair queen.

It will take place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The accord came just days after the fight appeared dead in the water. Margarito was not happy with a 50-50 split of the purse and had rejected the fight.

But HBO stepped back up to the plate.

"They agreed to make an additional payment to Margarito through us on the basis that he is the champion and that solidified the deal," said Arum, who promotes Margarito under his Top Rank Inc. banner.

Arum said that Mosley and Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, have signed off on the deal. Arum said Margarito and his management team also have given their approval. Margarito hasn't actually signed the contract, but Arum said that would come "whenever we get everything ready. But it's done."

Arum said that this is going to be a good way to start off 2009, which, until this, had little in the way of big fights scheduled for the first quarter of the new year.

"It's good, competitive fight and that always helps boxing," Arum said. "And people don't have to go to their pocketbooks because it is not a pay-per-view fight." [details]
I KNEW Tony would sign man, good for you Tony get the best fights for your legacy, Shane will be a great addition IF you can win, it'll be hard because he can take more than Cotto IMO but it can be done.. either way my respect goes to both men and HBO, them for signing and HBO for putting up whatever extra bread Margarito and camp needed to make the fight. Boxing is a gladiator sport and 2 of the best Welterweight gladiators is about to clash head first, can't wait for this one..

Correct. I'm glad, none the less that this fight is happening. A great way to start 2009. However this ends, it will be a war.

Swearing up and down mosley wouldn't get less than 50-50 split now watch him find yet ANOTHER excuse for him to bash margarito.
Mosley didn't get less then a 50-50 split. HBO said they'd throw Margarito some extra dough for being the champion?? Sounds like more Bob Arum bull**** to me. Regardless, good fight. Margarito should win, Mosley is definitely past his prime. I think Margarito will put on too much pressure. Hilarious this fight isn't even PPV, it shows both guys can't draw worth a ****. I won't be shocked if Mosley wins either because he has a pretty good chin and is a lot faster then Margarito. That would set up a Cotto vs Mosley 2. Once again leaving Paul Williams the odd man out.
