    How canadian is LL?

He represented them in the olympics and proudly waved their flag until he was signed to a big promotional deal in Britain. So does that make him a turn-coat or a proud brit that forgot where he came from until he saw $$$

Lennox said.. he chose to represent Britain.. after the Olympics and not Canada.. because after he won Gold.. suddenly The Canadian Government wanted a peice of him..To use in Promos and such..And when he was an amateur.. The Canadian government thrice refused to give him grant money when he applied for it ...

As it stands right now.. Canadian amateur athletes get about $500 bucks a month.. which is nothing if you are full time athlete..

Lennox, who obviously had promise..Applied for more money than that.. and was refused.. So he was pissed off.. makes sense .. no?

Lennox is so Canadian he... says "Eh" after every sentence...played hockey when he was 11... and he likes to snow board, ice skate and ice fish ...

...but, hey, seriously folks ...when I was an amateur at the same time as Lennox in the late 1980's I knew nothing about him being affiliated with England....if anyone asked anything about Lennox you thought of him as a kid from CANADA

Hehe thats kool. Well he classes himself as English and he was definitly born in London. So many would argue there is no room for interpretation. BUT then someone like Calzaghe, he classes himself as Welsh, but he was born in England...

Yes, but wales and england are both part of the uk so it's like arguing if you're from Cali or NY it's all America. But being a canadian until the brits show you the money is something different.

Canada is like the first wife who helps her husband through tough times when he's young and has nothing...works whole he goes to school, pays for his schooling, watches the kids, etc etc etc...etc...then he graduates, becomes a big time surgeon and leaves her for a new woman who never even bothered with before...
