And you took from them saying it wasnt more money, but a new "offer" that Shane took less of a split. What was that thing about the kettle and the pot?Comment

well you mentioned a ryan in another thread who you said was arums assistant. The only Ryan inside the toprank office is Ryan Bates and he doesn't know much about negotiations and is not arums assistant.Comment

I questioned the reasoning behind all the "Margarito is Scared of Mosley" talk.
I have always liked Shane, but in his fight with Cotto and especially his fight with Mayorga he is showing real signs of slowing down. I just cannot fathom Margarito being weary of him at this stage.
Margarito knows his career is in it's last stages and simply wants to make good money. Everyone else is doing it these days. He might fight 3-4 more times and then get out.Comment

And what wss the licensing fee for that fight asswipes?
If the licensing is $4 millions, Shane aint taking less that 2. And if you do your research, you will see that while Shane took home $1.3 million, Mayorga made $500k.
On Saturday’s HBO show from Carson, Calif., Shane Mosley made $1.5 million and Ricardo Mayorga made $500,000
I've advised you all before to do your homework. Does that sound like Mosley is doing even splits? Remember, the date is Shanes date. Without it, Maargarito doesnt have a fight till summertime. Dont think for one second Margarito is getting anything more than a 50/50 split. If Shane didnt take less than Oscar for a 3rd fight after beating him twice, you think he is taking less than parity to fight Margarito?Last edited by BoxingScribe; 11-24-2008, 12:32 PM.Comment

But shane has knocked out Vargas (Lt Heavyweight) and Mayorga (middleweight). Margarito only seems to be able to beat up on little fighters. Call Shane whatever you want. Old, over the hill. Past his prime. But glass jaw will never be one. I aint got Margarito holding up 12 rounds.
You also didn't have Tony taking the fight.
Looks like you were wrong, again.Comment
