so will floyd be stronger than bruce? bruce would rep 300 pounds daily, floyd, not so much..advantage bruce.

will floyd be faster? bruce will match floyds speed with kicks, punches, knees, and elbows..hell, bruce may be much faster than floyd. advantage bruce.

so are you counting on floyd shoulder rolling everything bruce throws at him? if so, i have no words for you.

in a street fight (remember the title of the topic) bruce kills floyd!!!
Some people think a street fight consists of four poles and 3 ropes wrapped around them.

oh yea, and a guy in a nicely pressed shirt with a little bow tie to break up clinches.

No, with picking a right distance, right angle and right moment to counter.
And with someone like Floyd he would not even need to think about it, it will come to him like it comes to you where is left and where is right, and as they say "You cant hit whats not there."

so you think bruce was just an actor? he really didn't know any of that stuff right? you do know some found bruce and told him he should make movies right? bruce took his talent and shared it with the word, just like floyd. he just did it on the big screen.

you do know bruce had many schools of the arts right? where he showed that he was just not an actor. he learn many things that he would never teach anyone else (things that would kill you in one blow)...

          nevermind, i don't even know why i'm trying...your one of the num-skulls.

I think quite on contrary he would be able to punch pretty much anyone's face in.
You want to know what the first thing they teach you at a JKD class?

low kick to the Knee, aimed at defending again people coming forward to punch you.

Floyd shuffles forward - Bruce snaps his knee in two = end of fight.

So, hes just going to run away?

There aren't any ropes to back up on.

No he knew a lot about fighting conceptually and trained a lot in it.

But he only had at best a few "fights" and they were in controlled environs against scrubs.

This is not what I think, it's just a fact. I understand Bruce was a martial artist before being an actor, do you know what art he trained in? It was NOT a competition art.

Bruce Lee would be ashamed of all his blind nuthugging legions today. Bruce Lee worship was NOT the point of what he was trying to teach. Jesus Christ bruce lee was AGAINST stuff like "death touch" and bull**** martial arts hype. It's sad that so many people still believe this ****.

Seriously, do any of you even understand what boxing is about?
Boxing, by far, is the most developed, sophisticated and complicated form of fighting. It is also the oldest.

It is also the hardest one to learn properly or even understand the principle.
What most people dont realize is that boxing is about instant adoptation and analysis. When they say that boxing is 80% mental, they do not solely mean "bravery" or "heart", they mean being able to predict the patterns, adopt to any situations and make use of what is the best of what you got.

Floyd Mayweather is one of the best in the game ever at doing this. I am picking him to beat up any actor they put in front of him.

If Bruce Lee had any fights that were actually documented (other than against the "great" Wong Man Jack and the others are debatable) I'd actually debate this. As it is, the guy never fought.

He had great insights into martial arts and fighting that are well worth reading if you leave the blind nuthugging worship at home.
