Santos didn't have a belt, now that he has it, its hard to get that dude to fight outside PR.

DLH lost to Sturm, beat Quartey, Sweet Pea.
Like I said before, if the P.R. fighters fight outside of P.R. then they are not home. P.R. fighters that went elsewhere to defend their titles: ALL OF THEM!
What's the deal with L.A.? isn't Vegas far enough from P.R. for you?

With all do Respect..We all know that NYC is the unofficial capital of the world. Las Vegas is nice but The Mecca of Boxing is Madison Square Garden. Every boxers dream is to fight there. It has more history then all the arenas combined. One more thing there is a certain Latino Group that rules That Unofficial Capital of the World. Which makes that group ....well you know whats up.

This is such a ridiculous argument. It's ok for a champ to not fight in his backyard.....what matters is where it's going to do more business. I don't know if the fight would do as much business in MSG as opposed to Vegas or Cali, because Vazquez is the draw and has more fans out west. If the fights on the west coast it's cause of that, not cause Vazquez is the champ.

I know what you're saying bro. He's a professional boxer and most likely he isn't afraid of no one. I can't deny that but 1 good win doesn't give him the right to call the shots against Vazquez. Now if Vazquez wasn't an attraction at all, then I would understand, but that's not the case.

You honestly think PR would be a state if it wasn't for military purposes??
Not taken over like sissies? Weren't California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas Mexico before? until they got "TAKEN OVER LIKE SISSIES" Also I almost forgot: PENDEJOS SON 2, TU Y TU PAPA. And I'm going to sleep because unlike you I have a job. Good night. Almost forgot, I've served my country too. Served in Bosnia 96-97, Iraq 03-04, Afghanistan 05-06 and still serving because I wanted to and not to speed-up a citizenship process. Now, good night.

It may be the Mecca but where do most of the biggest fights get made?? In Vegas.

History In 1993, Puerto Rico celebrated the 500th anniversary of its discovery by Colombus. Settled by explorer Juan Ponce de Leon, the Island was a Spanish possession for over four centuries. Puerto Rico came under United States sovereignty by thr Treaty of Paris signed on December 10, 1898, terminating the Spanish-American War. Puerto Ricans have been US citizens since 1917. In July 1950, the US Congress enacted Public Law 600. It provided that existing laws which defined the political, economic, and fiscal realtionship between Puerto Rico and the United States should remain in full force. It also authorized Puerto Rico to draft and approve its own Constitution, which took effect on July 25, 1952. Puerto Rico's relationship with the US is referred to as commonwealth status.

State or commonwealth, the united states could make PR its ***** if it really wanted to.
