Paulie was considering retiring for a while...there's a video of him over the summer mentioning it. Every broken right hand could be the last. Even if he won last night, I could only see him fighting a few more fights. Such a shame, he's had a great run though. To get this far, he's over achieved considering his circumstances. He's used boxing to advance himself in a way.
Zab vs. Paulie: loser retires

That would be an awesome scenario.I can see Paulie retiring if he wins mattering on what fights he has before this...
with hatton more than likely coming close to the end of his career; more than likely the majority of the remainder of his fights will be above 140...
so i think this can be the career defining fight paulie seeks...
once hatton leaves 140 paulie and judah can clean out the division (the two of them can pick up all the titles at 140) and can have their PPV moment as the two could square off for the number 1 spot at 140 in a title unification fight...
both loser AND winner could end up retiring...
it would be a dream scenario for me but thats unlikely to happen...
the atmosphere would be crazy...two guys from brooklyn fighting for the top spot at 140 in a unification bout in NYC...
it would be huge for these guys.
anyway...back to reality...
i made a thread earlier and think their ****y attitude and styles would mix perfectly for a good fight.
I was also thinking, Paulie vs Junior Witter, winner gets Bradley.....though Witter should get Bradley then maybe winner of that vs Paulie. So many scenarios in this division.Comment

Zab V Paulie>>> V Witter. Winner gets to beat up the fat man. I tip Zab to dust all three of them off. I don't think it should b end for Paulie though. He did say his hero was Arturo Gatti! We could do with another punchbag exihibition a la PBF V Gatti. Paulie would probably get hammered by Zab but not Witter as he is too boring. Witter will probably try to steal the fight if he was in V Zab or Fatty. On a side note I give Fatty more credit than Calslappy and he is current Brit p4p because he is not a ***** who fights old Grandfathers. He dared to be great and failed, and his win V Tszyu (injured, old, inactive but coming of a KO win, not Ko LOSSES) was bigger than Joe 'sealing his legacy' V (what Brits think was a Prime) RJJ.Comment
