WTF! At least let Paulie finish the fight with some honour!

Paulie was right. He was may more hurt in the Cotto fight!

How much did Golden Boy Promotions pay Mcgirt to throw in the towel so Ricky gets a knockout victory?

Lou Dibella and a member of the Nevada state athletic commision told McGirt to throw in the towel.

You know, I've always thought McGirt was a little overrated. In terms of giving his fighters instructions, I think he's exceptional and very realistic. However, if you look at his fighters they tend to blow it in the big fight and I think part of that is his fault. Last night, he made Paulie feel like he had no chance from about the fourth round on. He just doesn't seem to inspire his fighters to overcome adversity.

Do I think he "got paid" to throw in the towel? No. Do I think Paulie had the right to finish the fight? Yes. He wasn't really hurt, he was just being outworked. I felt embarrassed for Paulie when the fight was stopped and I agree with him that a guy of his status should be able to decide his own fate in that situation.

that was the most ******est thing ever man... it was really embarrasing for paulie. instead of saying "oh i went 12 rounds with ricky hatton", he's gonna say, what "i was TKO'D by hatton"?

****in mcgirt. paulie should definately break up with him and get with a coach who focuses on paulie's skills more instead of thinking about stopping a fuc*king fight.
