Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis is starting to get a bit angered at Vitali Klitschko, holder of the WBC title. He wants the Ukranian champion to stop mentioning his name, to stop dreaming about a rematch and to go out and build his own legacy. Lewis says if Vitali wants to fight him so bad, he should go out and fight his younger brother first. He says is Vitali meets younger brother Wladimir, who holds the WBO/IBF titles, he would consider returning to fight him. Lewis knows the two brother will never fight. [details]

Vitali really wants that rematch but can't let that eat him to much, as there are other big fights out there for him in the heavyweight division etc Haye. Really eats him up.

The real truth and the actual facts...for the very first time.
I'm interested that (either the article writer or ) Lewis refers to VK as "the Ukranian Champion". Perhaps to highlight that Ukraine, being a very small State, can only produce small (poor) Champions. Physical size is not actually mentioned.
I read it all to mean that Lewis, who gave the original hints, and absolutely loving the backside licking at first, unintentionally became cornered with the media impelled furore, and is now losing his temper because of this, showing his low true intelligence and, his fatuous demand that the two brothers fight each other when he hill then "consider" making a comeback.
Lest you all consider that I'm "jumping off the deep end", in my opinion, be remined of the numerous times that Lewis, being asked by an announcer, or analyst, during a boxing match, would seriously discuss how he could and might come back, and in fact, discuss his chances against incumbents. he wasn't ever being hypothetical, but serious...our time.
Only at the end of the report do the real excuses emerge, that he was "at the end of my career" etc.......something he always resolutely denied, and would often, without coaxing, tell everybody "how good I am".......{see pre-and post-Klitschko fight interviews}and that it's obvious, for the very first time, that he will never re-emerge on the boxing scene as a fighter. And a damned good thing too.

Easy for Lewis to say. He's the one with wins over a dozen former, reigning, or future world title holders, a dozen Ring Ranked top 10 heavyweights, 8 defenses of the linear HW crown, and 14 successful alphabet defenses of the HW title. He's the one who's recognized by many historians as a top 10 HW all-time.
Vitali has wins over Golf Sanders, Whale Johnson, Danny Williams, and "Scam Cheater".
Lennox, have a heart, ****.
