He's getting better, if he keeps getting better, it could be a while.

We can hope that he improves and therefore doesn't, but if things remain as they are now it could well be not until after he wins his first title, in the offensive realm he's just that good.

hope you guys realize a 25-0 club fighter had him wobbled once or twice in that fight. if he can learn to use his speed and reflexes to move out the way of punches alas RJJ he'll be fine. his offensive is quick and powerful. but his chin is on the weakside. saying that itll be hard to KO him, let alone outbox him. thats why he'll be tough, but i hope he proves me wrong.

It depends, if he fights the same competiton is being fighting it would take 100 years, but if he start fighting have decent fighters IŽll say 4 more fights!!!!

he has only had 12 fights and he already fought Darling Jimenez (who was a very good amateur) and a very tough fight for someone that fresh in the game.
Jimenez is a very good C fighter. And he has also fought a guy with a 25-0 record in Marco Ramirez. Now you can say.. yeah but Ramirez has been is soft and that is very true but he also has double the experience Gamboa had... not to mention it was Gamboa's 12th fight.
I think he should do good. Sure he has some really bad habits and really bad habits are really hard to break.. BUT they can be broken!

Exposed?? listen bro when this guy finally losses I don't think people will be yelling he was exposed, they will be commending his heart because I don't think no one will just walk threw him hands down OR up. the guy has a granite chin and already being only 12-0, 10KO's he has fought and beaten 5 guys who had more than 20 wins 1 of which was undefeated and a good solid Boxer, derailed before he can make a name for himself. the guy is no slouch man, they doing with him what they did with Cotto man they feeding animals to him early, undefeated animals and you'll see much like Cotto he will continue to run threw these guys.

I read someone saying he will get Amir Khan'ed soon, that's horse****. Amir Khan got what he got because he can't withstand as much as Gamboa can, Gamboa has been hit flush and HARD by punchers so believe me when I tell you he wont just get knocked out so easily. his only weakness that I can see is that he doesn't execute Boxing basics, I see him leaping in and forcing a fight not caring what comes back to him and that's a mistake not because he can get KO'ed, believe me I know it as well as he knows it he has a rock chin, he gonna take that, I worry because when he runs into a technical Boxer who's strong enough to keep him on the outside and not let him **** away he may just be lost, like a little boy in a supermarket unattended he wont know what to do..

THAT'S my only worry with this kid because the harder you hit him the harder he comes to you, and when he finally catches you he will be hitting you with the hardest hits you've ever felt. he's been brought up as an old school Cuban fighter, we talking about another Joel Casamayor here accept Casamayor back in this time had fundamentals, maybe not textbook but he had tactics to do well against solid Boxers. Darling Jiminez, who is a respectable Boxer opened up the doubt in me for Gamboa against Boxers because he gave Gamboa trouble when applying smart tactics. he isn't made of steel and isn't one of the best fighters in the world so he was knocked out but he exposed a weakness that can in the future be taken advantage of.

the hands low thing is already in his style, it's how he does his thing. he has good head and lateral movement so he isn't stiff, he has EXPLOSIVE punching power and can take whatever is given to him. if anything I see the hands low as a good technique for him, not for ANYONE but for him, because when his hands are low and yours are high it will make it hard for you to see his shots if he's fast, the man in your signature can vouch for that, and if he has crushing power to go with his speed he can turn that risky style into a successful one because he will always be in position to dish out damage even if he himself is getting hit.
