Not possible. If this is to happen, Hatton needs to move back up to 147 and he can give Cotto one hell of a fight.

Cotto at 140 was rocked by the wind, real talk

Hatton at 140 has proved he is one the best. He is up there with the 140 Kings. Cotto has been exposed by a punching bag with a chin.

I see Cotto not wanting to come out of his corner around round 7 after taking Hatton's cruel beyond imaginable punishment

Yeah Im pretty sure Hatton would walk through everything Cotto's got. Miguel would probably throw 5 right hands for 11 rounds, and clinch Hattons waist after every attempted jab.

            Cotto stops him...

            11th round TKO...

            Why?

            I think its pretty evident...

Hatton's best asset is the inside game.

This wouldnt happen in a fight against cotto.

Cotto's strength and pop in his punches would be enough to keep hatton at bay. Cotto would counter majority of hatton's wide/looping punches with straight rights down the middle...busting him up to earn a TKO.

Ya know Hatton's been rocked a few times at 140 by lesser fighters. You didnt know that though because you've only seen two of his fights. That's OK though.

For the last time i feel Hatton beats Cotto at 140.

Cotto is a multi dimensional fighter who has power, good handspeed, great jab, great left hook and deadly body attack. The problem is at 140 he was weight drained and that affected his ability to take punch.

Hatton is a pressure fighter who has good power, underated handspeed, quick footwork, good body puncher and can take a better punch than what most people think. Watch his fight with Kosta Tszyu as proof.

I feel the fight would be competitive but Hatton eventually hurts cotto with something big and ends his night. Cotto is a good puncher but i feel Hatton would be able to take his shots long enough for him to catch Cotto.

At 147 Cotto wins by TKO.
