some ppl really dont think - i agree with rodders, hatton when he weighs in at 140 is absolutely shredded, he is pretty dehydrated and doesn't have that much fat on him. how the hell is he gonna make 135?!?! the only way hed make that weight is by chopping off a leg.

its not got anything to do with how much he gains between fights or how much he likes his big macs and guiness he simply can't get down to the 135 weight.

yes some fighters can go down in weight - look at juan diaz or enzo maccarinelli they could probably make the weight below them but hatton simply can't.

as for his options at jnr WW id love to see him take on bradley, it would be agreat fight bradley imo has all the tools to win. id like to see what sort of condition DLh and pacman come in as, if DLh comes in looking lean nd makes the weight easily then i reckon they might make catchweight fight at 145. a fight with pacman would be at hattons ideal weight which is 140, but pacman is a dangerous fighter and one would give hatton a very hard time.

im sure there are a few top lightweights but i dont think that there are many who can step up and still be effective.

      Possible lightweight opp.

      Juan Manuel Marquez
      Nate Campbell
      Manny Pacquiao
      Juan Guzman

      Possible welterweight opp.

      Margarito
      Cotto
      Berto
      Cintron
There is a VERY slim chance Hatton could make lightweight...he'd be weight drained...

however if he stays at 140 I dont see anyone currently at 140 that can beat him...

at 147 (with the opponents you listed) i think he beats berto and cintron pretty easily but falls short to cotto and margarito.

I think in terms of legacy he should attempt to get a few of the lightweights to move up to 140 to fight him...then finish out his career at 147 with a few wins.
