I feel sorry for that guy. In every fight I have seen him, if he possessed decent punching power he could have won. The man upstairs played a cruel joke on him. He possesses all the qualities a good fighter needs, just missing the key ingredient.
I felt bad when I watched the post-fight interview and seen Paulie looking like he was gonna cry, saying he deserves better than to be stopped. I agreed with him.
EDIT - Fair point hammerhiem. I am not deluded, maybe just exaggerated a little bit. I think against Cotto, Cotto was dead at the weight that night, anyone with power and strength would have ****ed him up. There were occasions when Paulie was able to push him around, and even stop him in his tracks with punches. Against Hatton, Paulie was catching him clean, and Hatton is always wide open to be hit, but it was like hitting a bowling ball with a toffee hammer.
